More on love - Alex Smalley
Reading further into the book of The Prudence of Love from philosophy 201, the book states that there is criteria for love (this book makes one think about how important love is within life). Those criteria are flexibility, compatibility, distinguishing between excellent and flawed love, and weighing concerns of morality. All four of these things are readily applicable to all relationships. Flexibility is a given, the people within the healthy relationship need to have a certain trust in one another. Going along with that trust is the compatibility criteria, people need to be able to get along for a relationship to be meaningful. Distinguishing between the two types of love mentioned above to me means that excellent love needs to be the goal of the relationship. Morality in my opinion is another category of trust in one another.
